When you join a Web conference as a participant (not the leader) for a conference, the Participant console opens. The Participant console is very similar to the leader console. However, some functions available to the leader are not available to participants.
The Participant Console menu includes these topics across the top:
Meeting: This menu includes access to Preferences and Exit Meeting.
Share: You can share the Application, Desktop, or Region during a conference.
Video: You can Start or Stop broadcasting Video.
Audio: You can Start or Stop Audio through PC.
NOTE: If you have already called into the conference using MiCollab Client on your PC and you have one audio device connected to your PC, audio will be transmitted and received on the single audio device for both applications.
View: Enables you to control the various views or windows involved in the conference. These windows include:
Participants
Chat
Video
Dock Windows
Restore Last Layout
Restore Default Layout Participants
Help: Enables access to the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing User Help (this file), display the version of MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client you are running and save logs into a zip file.
NOTE: There are different options for the View menu if Advanced Sharing is active. Share, Video and Recorder menu items also have the Preferences settings.
Each window (pane) on the console can be docked and undocked from the main console window.
Like the Leader console, the Participant console includes the Meeting Center tab, which contains information such as leader and participant URLs and handy meeting functions.
