Desktop sharing enables the leader to show their desktop to all the participants during a Web conference. When you share your desktop, you can access several sharing controls, located on a toolbar at the top of the shared portion of your screen. Desktop sharing controls include Whiteboard Tools, that enable you to draw, add text, and make annotations on the screen.
After you end the desktop sharing session, drawings or notations disappear. However, you can use the snapshot button () to save the elements that appear on your screen before you end the sharing session.
You can also give control of your desktop to a participant using remote control. If you invoke both remote control and desktop sharing, desktop sharing remains active after remote control is discontinued.
NOTE: If you are running Windows 8, "Share Desktop" has been renamed "Share Full Screen".
