MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client

With MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing, you can access the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client in two different ways:

As a user, in most cases, you will do a Typical installation.

With the installed desktop client, when you Join a Web conference or click the Verify Client link, your connection to the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing server and the version of the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client installed on your computer are checked before the Leader or Participant console opens.

If the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client is not the correct version or is not installed, you are prompted to download a Launcher application that will install or upgrade the client and take you to your conference.

After the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client is installed, you can participate in Web conferences from the Leader or Participant console.

If you are running on a non-Windows based machine OR you are on Windows-based machine that cannot run the required Active X or Sun Java components required by MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client, you are directed to the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Web Client. You will join the conference as a participant, even if you are the designated leader.

NOTE: Your Web browser security, Active X, or SunJava settings may not allow you to join a conference. Follow the instructions on the screens to install or launch the client. In this case, you also have the option of joining the conference through the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Web Client, which does not require an installation on your machine and places you in the conference as a participant.

This procedure will remove the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client and the Launcher:

For Windows XP:

On your computer, click Start – Control Panel – Add or Remove Programs.
Select MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client from the list of programs.
Click Remove, and then click Yes. The MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client is removed from your computer.

For Windows Vista and 7:

On your computer, click Start - Control Panel - Programs and Features.
Double-click MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing from the list of programs.
Click Yes. The MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client is removed from your computer.

For Windows 8:

On your computer, go to Settings (bottom right hand corner) then select Control Panel - Programs and Features.
Double-click MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing from the list of programs.
Click Yes. The MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client is removed from your computer.
