The Launcher provides a simplified method of joining a conference (audio only, web only or audio/web). In order to use the launcher for the first time, the system must verify your device and browser to ensure it works with the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client for Windows. Once it is successfully verified, the client application is launched directly, without requiring any further downloads.
NOTE: The Launcher will be installed as part of the Collaboration Client the first time you join a conference. An MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing shortcut icon to the Launcher will appear on your desktop as well as an icon in your Start menu (Windows version dependent).
The Launcher feature simplifies:
accessing conference from the desktop
joining recently joined conferences from your desktop
starting an instant conference (ad hoc) from your desktop
accessing local recordings and playback.
Joining a conference for the first time will install the Collaboration Client including the Launcher:
To join a conference and install the client (from system generated invitation)
To join a conference and install the client (NOT system generated invitation)

NOTE: The Launcher can also be used for audio only conferences. Use it to set your preferences, have the system call you automatically or provide conference dial-in instructions. See Using the Launcher.
