Whiteboard Tools

The Whiteboard Tools are displayed at the top of the screen when you are sharing an Application, Desktop, or region of your desktop. Screen Sharing has two modes:

Cursor mode (default) uses the cursor to click on objects.
Draw mode, the cursor changes to one of the drawing tools available from the Whiteboard Tools window. Whiteboard Tools allow you to draw, or add text and notations for participants to see.

NOTE: Whiteboard Tools are used by both the leader and participants. However, the leader has two additional tools available to him or her: Transparency and Cut (see the descriptions below).

Select one of these whiteboard tools:

Icon	Description
	Hide/Show Whiteboard Tools Allows you to toggle between show and hide the whiteboard tools on the sharing toolbar.
	Pen Allows you to draw free-hand in the Viewer area.
	Ellipse Allows you to draw an ellipse in the Viewer area.
	Rectangle Allows you to draw a rectangle in the Viewer area.
	Text Allows you to add text in the Viewer area. Click in the Viewer area to insert a text box where you can type in text.
	Notation Allows you to add numbered notations to the Viewer area. Click in the Viewer to add a notation. Each time you click to add a notation, the notation number increments by one.
	Eraser Allows you to remove some or all of a drawing, text, or notation in the Viewer area.
	Cut NOTE: This feature is not available to attendees on their whiteboard toolbar. Allows you to select drawings, text, or notations in the Viewer area, and then move or delete them
	Cursor (default) Allows you to use your cursor to perform normally in the Viewer area.
	Color Palette Allows you to select color options for drawings, text, and notations.
	Hide/Show Whiteboard NOTE: This feature is not available to attendees on their whiteboard toolbar. Click this icon to either hide or show (toggle) the whiteboard from the Screen Sharing area.
	Clear Whiteboard Allows you to clear the entire Viewer area of drawings, text, and notations.
	Snapshot Allows the presenter to take a snapshot of their screen. It saves a bitmap image of the current screen to the presenter's computer.
	Snapshot Settings Allows you to change the location where snapshots are saved.
