End of Conference Prompt (EOCP)

The End of Conference Prompt (EOCP) feature alerts the leader that the conference will end soon. The leader is presented options to extend the conference. A confirmation prompt is presented to the leader when the conference is extended successfully.

In an audio-only conference: a prompt is played asking to extend the conference by 15, 30, 45, or 60.

In a web conference the leader is prompted to allow the conference to expire, extend it for 15 minutes or extend if for 30 minutes via a pop-up window.

NOTE: The EOCP feature and related options are set by the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing administrator.

Audio and Web conference or Audio only conference

An initial prompt alerts the leader and participants that the conference is scheduled to end.

NOTE: If more than one leader is in the conference, prompts are played for the leader that has been in the conference the longest.
If MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing does not have available ports to extend the conference for at least 15 minutes, the EOCP is not played.

Web only conference

The leader must be logged in to MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing to see the EOCP options for the Web conference. A new MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing window opens to alert the leader that the conference is scheduled to end.

The leader can select from the list to extend the Web conference or let the conference end as scheduled.

NOTE: If the leader gives control to a participant, the participant will not be prompted to extend the conference. Only the conference leader is prompted with the option to extend the conference.
