Recordings Tab

The Recorded Conferences tab allows you to access recordings associated with your conferences. From this page, you can access recordings for both audio and Web conferences.

NOTE: You cannot play recordings directly from the portal using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. With these browsers, you must save recordings to your computer before you can play them. Recordings can be played directly from the portal using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

Audio Recordings

Select Recordings to view your Audio Only recordings. The audio only recordings are listed by the date and time of the recording. Click the conference name to access the recording.

From the Recordings tab, click See Audio Only Recordings.
Click the name of the conference. The recording details and options appear.
Select a file type for Play recording now.
Click Play. The application opens for the file type you selected. The recording is played through your computer speakers or headset.

NOTES: If the recording does not play, ensure that you have the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Client installed and that your Active X, Sun Java, and security settings are correctly installed and set.
You cannot listen to a recording if the port reservations option is enabled. You must disable this option to listen to recorded conferences.

To save a recording to your computer:

From the Recordings tab, click See Audio Only Recordings.
Click the name of the conference. The recording details and options appear.
Select the file type for the Save recording option, and then click Save.
The File Download dialog box appears. Click Save.
Set a location to save the file, and then click Save.

To listen to a recording from your phone:

NOTE: If you do not see this option, the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing administrator has set port reservations for the system and you cannot listen to recordings from your phone. To listen to a recording, you must download the recording to your computer.

From the Recordings tab, click See Audio Only Recordings.
Click the name of the conference. The recording details and options appear.
To listen to the recording:
- Have the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing system call you, type your phone number in the box, and then click Call.
- Use the dial-in number to call the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing system, and then enter the recording access code when prompted.

NOTE: The recording access code is not the same as the conference access code.

While you listen to the recording, you can use these playback features on your phone:

- Press 1 to go to the start of the recording.
- Press 2 to pause and resume the recording.
- Press 3 to go to the end of the recording.
- Press 4 to back up one minute in the recording.
- Press 6 to move forward one minute in the recording.
- Press 7 to go back 10 seconds in the recording.
- Press 9 to go forward 10 seconds in the recording.

NOTE: If you do not see this option, the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing administrator has set Port Reservations for the system.

From the Recordings tab, click See Audio Only Recordings.

Click the name of the recording. The recording details and options appear.
Click E-mail. An e-mail message is generated.
Type the names of the people to send the e-mail, and then send the e-mail invitation.

To delete a recording:

From the Recordings tab, click See Audio Only Recordings.
Select the Action box of each recording that you wish to delete.
Click Delete Selected button.

Web Recordings

From the Recordings tab, click See Web Conferencing Recordings. The Web recordings are listed by the date and time of the recording. Click the conference name to access the recording.

The recording Duration and Days to delete (number of days before the recording is deleted) is also listed.

From the Recordings tab, click See Web Conferencing Recordings.
Click the name of the conference. The Collaboration Player opens and plays the recording.

To delete a recording:

From the Recordings tab, click See Web Conferencing Recordings.

A list of the recording appears.
- To delete a recording, click Delete for the conference.
- To delete a multiple recordings, set the check boxes for the recordings to delete, and then click Delete Checked.
Click OK when prompted to delete the recording.

From the Recordings tab, click the See Web Conferencing Recordings link.
A list of the recordings is displayed. Click E-mail. An e-mail message is generated.
Type the names of the people to send the e-mail, and then send the e-mail invitation.

To save a recording to your computer:

From the Recordings tab, click See Web Conferencing Recordings.
A list of the recordings appears. Click Save for the recording.
The File Download dialog box appears. Click Save.
Set a location to save the file. (Optional) You can change the name of the file. Click Save.

NOTE: You will receive an email indicating your recordings will be deleted in XX number of days. Advise your administrator to either extend the date before deletion or mark the recording as a permanent record.
