Polling

The Polling option in the Meeting menu allows you to ask questions and get immediate feedback from participants in the Web conference. As participants respond to the poll, you will see information about how many participants have answered and how many responses were received for each answer.

Select Polling in the Tools menu.
Set the question type from the list:
- True/False Question
- Yes/No Question
- Multiple Choice - Single Selection
- Multiple Choice – Multiple Selection
- Essay
- <BROWSE> (to use a saved question)

Type a question in the box.

If the question is multiple choice, type the answers in the boxes below your question. Click Add Choice to add more possible answers.

Click Preview and see how the question (and answers) appears.

NOTE: For an essay question, you have the option to type an answer for the question. Only the question is sent to the participant.

Do one of these actions:
- Click Back if you want to make changes to the question or question type.
- Click Send to deliver the question to participant.

After you click Send, the results view appears.

- Set Show Details. See if each participant has answered the question.
- Click Save. The results can be saved to a .txt or .csv file.
- Click Cancel. Ignores the results and goes back to the question type view.
- Click New. Goes back to the question type view.
